A great friend and “HUG U” character creator (currently in development) D. Mark Wheeler coined the phrase “Holiday's Ultimate Gift” an acronym for HUG. He posed the question, “What is as great to give as receive?” Obviously a hug.
We don’t hug enough. We really don’t. It is almost taboo in our culture unless you are close friends and even then it can be very awkward for many. This is why I founded the social cause, Hugs Unite Us. ‘Tis the season to get past your hugging fears. Hugs are more acceptable during the holiday season of cheer. Especially after too much ‘cheer’ (BTW, I don’t endorse that).
